The Flamenco guitar has very few differences in respect to the classical spanish one.
Depending on Luthiers and specifications different woods are used and their size can also vary. In the flamenco world two types are known, the "Blanca" (white) and the "Negra" (black) guitar.
The body and neck of the Blanca usually is built with cypress or spruce woods with a freetboard made out of ebony, whereas the Negra is built with brazilian rosewood or similar woods, also with an ebony freetboard. The sound in both types vary and the choice depends on the artist.
