I have known Fernando Perez as a student and fellow musician since he arrived at Musicians Institute in September of 1998. Mr. Perez entered our guitar program at an advanced level and maintained that same level of accomplishment throughout his enrollment, graduating in September of 1999 with a Professional Certificate.
I had the opportunity to play many times with Mr. Perez, in both individual and group settings, and have found him to have confident grasp of musical concepts and a mature personal style. He has a strong sense of artistic direction and a rare ability to blend his personal and cultural background with the influences he has experienced since arriving in the U.S. |
I consider Mr. Perez to have been a valuable member of the Musicians Institute community and an inspiration to his fellow students. I feel he has great potential for further contributions to the musical world and would be a genuine asset to the professional artistic community of Los Angeles.
