Last month of August 2009 also known in Egypt as Ramadan took place the Sufi Music Festival in the magnificent palace of El Ghuri in El Cairo. The mythical sufi group 'Samaa' hosted a magical night where Fernando Perez was the special guest, his participation was sponsored by Instituto Cervantes in El Cairo.

Together they brought a night of sufi chants, spanish guitar along with qanun, percussion and several arabic instruments.

The Festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture and its main chiefs attended along with a selected audience and several egyptian media and TV cameras.
